Shawnee High School on Zurmehly Rd opened the 2025 football season with a strong 45-24 win over Van Wert on October 17, 2025, and defeated Ottawa-Glandorf 27-10 on October 24, highlighting the Indians’ competitive start under coach Mark Triplett. The Zurmehly Rd campus continues to develop underclassmen in the lineup, with the team playing ten players in the first half of games to build depth and reward daily practice efforts. Shawnee offers SAT/ACT testing, AP and dual credit courses, and a range of extracurriculars including National Honor Society, student council, and athletics in the Western Buckeye League.
