Hilliard Tharp Sixth Grade Elementary School custodian Dave Carter was recognized as a recipient of the Embrace, Empower and Inspire Award in April 2026. This monthly district recognition celebrates staff members who go above and beyond in their commitment to the school community. The school also will remain a major sixth-grade center as part of the district’s Master Facilities Plan after the passage of the 2024 bond to renovate other facilities to enhance 21st-century learning environments.
