The Vikings baseball team at Northridge High School took its championship destiny into its own hands with an 8-7 win over Johnstown on May 7, 2026. Higgins had a single to tie the game and Noah Mason added a squeeze bunt. The Polar Bears football team showed grit in a 29-28 overtime win over visiting Newark Catholic on Sept. 26, 2025.
