Horizon Science Academy Dayton High School is gearing up for parent-teacher conferences on January 15, 2026. Students from the school recently competed at CONSEF in Chicago and brought home 1 Gold, 7 Silver, and 3 Bronze awards in the science fair. Basketball games are still played in the school gym at the Shoup Mill Road campus, which continues to offer SAT prep, STEM coursework and college counseling for grades 6-12. Horizon is a member of the network Concept Schools, which got nearly $14 million to expand high-performing charter public schools across the Midwest, with more resources and opportunities.
