Dayton Early College Academy Inc received a 2024-25 College Success Award from GreatSchools for its record of preparing scholars for postsecondary education. Brown Street is a 9-12 campus with a rigorous early college model, where students earn substantial college credits while completing high school requirements. All juniors are required to complete 100+ hours of community service, job shadows, internships, and on-site ACT prep twice weekly, for college readiness, in DECA’s Gateway framework. Robust community partnerships have resulted in more than 2,500 job shadows and 500 unpaid internships with Dayton businesses, linking classroom learning to real-world careers.
