Gordon DeWitt Elementary School is a public K–5 school located in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, that serves about 350 students with a student-to-teacher ratio of around 16:1. The school, which opened in its modern two-story building in 1968 in a suburban neighborhood, is part of the Cuyahoga Falls City School District. The school offers a complete curriculum that includes all the core subjects, the arts, physical education, and a Gifted & Talented program to support the needs of all students. With Principal Jennifer Skala, Mrs. Skala tries to and has developed an environment that fosters caring, and inclusiveness, while continuing to encourage students to be explorers, creators, and critical thinkers. 1) Monster Mash PTO Dance Fundraiser: Taking place on October 24th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the DeWitt Elementary School Gym. This beloved annual Halloween dance party is open to all families/students. ([cfalls.org])

3)Get in the ZONE! Project: Gordon DeWitt Elementary School was honored to receive a $15,000 grant from the GAR Foundation for this project that focuses on understanding students' strengths, exposure to science education, and confidence building. ([garfoundation.org])

A. Yes, our school has a Gifted & Talented program available for academically advanced learners to challenge them, as well as to support their needs.
Q. Is technology incorporated into the learning experience?
A. Yes, students will find interactive whiteboards, tablets, and other digital tools in classrooms to further support the teaching and learning experience.
Q. Are programs in the arts and music available?
A. Yes, students will have the option to join music, art, and drama programs, including any of the After-School Drama Club programs.
