Zenith Academy East is now celebrating its recognition for significantly exceeding state standards in closing educational gaps, a testament to the success of its personalized instruction model. Recently, the school held a Cultural Exchange Showcase where students in the Arabic and ESL programs shared their progress in language and culture with the local Columbus community. The campus also launched its new Family Partnership Initiative, which offers monthly workshops to involve parents more in their children’s academic and social development.
Q1. What special language programs does Zenith Academy East have?
Ans. We have a special curriculum for Limited English Proficiency (LEP) students with ESL teachers on staff and classes in Arabic.
Q2. What are some ways that Zenith Academy East involves families in the school community?
Ans. We are a family-oriented school that believes in community involvement and is based on the philosophy that it takes a village to educate a child.
Q3. What is the number of students in a class at Zenith Academy East?
Ans. Our school is small with a 20:1 student-teacher ratio to provide personalized instruction for our scholars.
Q4. Does Zenith Academy East perform health screening for younger students?
Ans. Yes, we do yearly hearing and vision screenings for all students in the kindergarten and first grade, before November 1st of each year.
Q5. How can parents find out the qualifications of teachers?
Ans. Parents may request information concerning the professional qualifications, training and credentials of the classroom staff.
