Sedalia received a 2024 Momentum Award from the Ohio Department of Education, recognizing outstanding progress and achievement. The district is advancing its Master Facility Plan, which includes constructing a new elementary school on the current Sedalia site to address overcrowding and modernize facilities. Thanks to the “Bonzy’s Coat Day” initiative, all Sedalia students received new winter coats—made possible through volunteers and donor support.
