North Columbus Preparatory Academy recently celebrated its involvement in the “Foundations of Excellence” initiative that gained a double-digit increase in student math proficiency scores this term. The campus is currently touting its successful “Prep Ambassadors” program, in which veteran students serve as mentors to new scholars to facilitate a smooth transition into the academy’s rigorous routines. The school also held a “Spring Innovation Fair” where students showcased original tech projects to local business leaders in Columbus.

Ans. North Columbus Preparatory Academy is a free public charter school.
Q2. Is there a dress code for students at North Columbus Preparatory Academy?
Ans. Yes, students are expected to adhere to a dress code of black, gold, navy or white tops and black, navy or khaki bottoms.
Q3. Does the school offer transportation and meals for students?
Ans. Yes, the academy offers free bus transportation, free breakfast and lunch to all students.
Q4. What extracurricular activities and sports do students get to participate in?
Ans. Students participate in free athletics programs such as basketball, cheerleading and track and field, as well as hands-on clubs including coding, robotics and culinary arts.
Q5. How can parents stay connected and communicate with the school?
Ans. Parents are encouraged to use the Parent Portal to see grades and talk to teachers, and are welcome to join in school traditions such as Donuts with Dad and the Principal Dinner.
