Leawood Elementary School recently celebrated its latest “Teacher of the Year” recipient for his or her outstanding dedication to instructional excellence and student mentorship. The school community held its annual “Leawood Jubilee,” a festival celebrating student accomplishments in the fine arts and building school spirit. Plus, students on the campus are enjoying a state-of-the-art STEAM lab where they’re solving weekly engineering and coding challenges.

Ans. Our campus has a supervised car-rider loop and crossing guards to make sure students get into the building safely each day.

Ans. Our project “Youth Voices” helps students gain confidence speaking through presentation skills practice and leading morning announcements.
