Forest Park Elementary School has recently unveiled a new student-created mural that celebrates the school’s history and promotes a campus-wide message of unity. Student-led literacy clubs are booming on campus, including a recent drive to expand the school media center’s diverse book collection. The school also had a successful “Community Unity” event that brought together students, families and staff for a day of service and celebration.
Q1. Is there a special area for theater at Forest Park Elementary School where students perform a musical and dramatic production every year?
Ans. On campus, we have a multi-purpose stage where students each year display their theatrical talents in seasonal community arts productions.
Q2. What coding software do students use in the technology lab at Forest Park Elementary School?
Ans. During their weekly lab rotations, students learn core skills in software engineering and digital problem-solving on interactive platforms.
Q3. What does Forest Park Elementary School do to support students who are interested in competing in regional math tournaments?
Ans. At our school we have a “Math Masters” club, a special opportunity for students to explore advanced mathematical concepts, and prepare to compete in regional math events representing our school.
Q4. Are there any unique outdoor learning classrooms on the Forest Park Elementary School campus for students?
Ans. We have a dedicated nature courtyard on campus where instructors teach hands-on biology and environmental science to students of all grade levels.
Q5. Does Forest Park Elementary School have an official family induction program for new families?
Ans. Our parent coordinator hosts monthly welcome sessions to help new residents become part of our vibrant and supportive school.
