Cranbrook Elementary School celebrated a record-breaking enrollment year, with many new families joining the vibrant and supportive primary academic community. The school held its annual “Cranbrook Heritage Parade” successfully to celebrate the diversity of the school students and to promote unity. Teachers also received recognition for their imaginative application of digital learning tools to offer customized student assistance and prompt academic feedback.
Q1. How Cranbrook Elementary School celebrates students who have hit literacy milestones each month with its “Reading Rocks” program.
Ans. Students earn “Rock Star” badges for each book completed and we have a school-wide dance party to celebrate their progress.
Q2. What kinds of interactive games do families play at the Cranbrook Elementary School Math Carnival?
Ans. Students can help local residents build foundational numeracy skills by playing math-themed bingo and “Estimation Stations,” all in a high-energy, fun environment.
Q3. How has the “Positive Behavior” system at Cranbrook Elementary School improved the school’s spirit?
Ans. We’ve built a campus where students are looking for ways to help their classmates every day and rewarding acts of kindness with Spirit Slips.
Q4. Does Cranbrook Elementary School have any after school special support for young readers during the semester?
Ans. We also offer a “Story Hour” program for students who want additional small-group reading time to build confidence in their literacy skills after class.
Q5. How does Cranbrook Elementary School ensure the safety of students during supervised outdoor play?
Ans. Staff lead kids in all of the playground activities and structured group games that focus on physical fitness and social safety.
