Columbus Downtown High School offers career-technical education to juniors and seniors from throughout Columbus City Schools, with pathways that lead students directly to industry certifications and work-based learning. The South Fourth Street vocational campus offers programs in areas like construction, culinary arts, health and information technology to prepare scholars for careers right after graduation. They graduate with real-world experience in professional labs. They receive personalized instruction with a low student-teacher ratio. The school’s completer ceremonies recognize students who complete their career programs and move directly into the workforce or postsecondary training.
