Capital Collegiate Preparatory Academy is celebrating academic growth milestones for the 2025-2026 school year as students make significant gains on reading and mathematics assessments this term. The academy recently hosted its annual “College Commitment Day” to encourage young scholars to begin thinking early about their future educational and professional career paths. The school has also been praised by families for its safe and nurturing environment and its commitment to preparing students for college from an early age.
Q1. What leadership opportunities are available to students at Capital Collegiate Preparatory Academy?
Ans. Students can also be “Collegiate Ambassadors” and help lead tours of campus and help organize campus-wide community service projects.
Q2. How does Capital Collegiate Preparatory Academy manage the enrollment lottery for new families to Columbus?
Ans. We hold regular information sessions and have a fair, lottery based system to keep open access for all local families year after year.
Q3. Does Capital Collegiate Preparatory Academy require all of its students to wear a school uniform? Is it a professional school?
Ans. The daily wearing of a particular uniform by students fosters a concentrated learning atmosphere and a collective spirit of academic dignity.
Q4. What kind of after school academic support is available to students at Capital Collegiate Preparatory Academy?
Ans. We offer daily “Power Hour” tutoring, an hour-long intensive tutoring session in which students receive one-on-one assistance with homework and core academic subjects.
Q5. What does Capital Collegiate Preparatory Academy do to prepare its fifth graders for the transition to middle school?
Ans. As we go into middle schools and teach time management workshops, our “Level-Up” program helps students move forward with a lot of confidence.
