Brookside Elementary School is celebrating being named a “Kindness Certified School” after students completed over a thousand acts of service during their annual spirit week celebrations. Recently the school held a high energy “STEAM Expo” where young scientists presented their original research projects and engineering models to families and local experts. The campus also is seeing a positive academic impact from its new student-led “Green Team” which oversees school-wide recycling efforts.
