Future You Day at Beechcroft High School offered freshmen the chance to explore career pathways in health sciences, media arts, engineering and entrepreneurship through interactive sessions and a virtual-reality experience. Beechcroft’s Academies model gives students the opportunity to start exploring careers with industry partners and real-world projects on their first day of freshman year. The Cougars basketball teams had overtime wins over Mifflin, with the varsity boys winning 79-75 in a conference game and 84-83 later in the season. Beechcroft volleyball also beat West, Africentric Early College, Franklin Heights and Walnut Ridge, showing strong fall competition.
