Garrett Morgan School of Leadership and Innovation is part of CMSD's Building Brighter Futures plan, which guarantees students attend newer buildings with more opportunities such as algebra in eighth grade and more extracurriculars. The school provides career pathways and leadership development as part of the district’s focus on college and career readiness for all high schools. Educators continue to support Special Education and English Language Learner students with better resources and classroom supports. Through the Detroit Avenue campus, students are provided with leadership programs to get them ready for success after secondary school
