Being Updated
Cleveland High School for the Digital Arts is expanding its project-based approach where students design videogames, film movies and record digital sound projects as part of core coursework. The school combines game design, recording arts technology and digital filmmaking to allow students to access math, history and science via creative means. Ninth-grade students arrive early and stay late to work on recording arts and film projects, and they are highly engaged in the digital arts curriculum. The integrated design model in the school gives students opportunities to display work and prepare portfolios for art and technology colleges.
