Western Hills University High School unveiled a refreshed Pete Rose “Hit King” sign on Ferguson Road, giving new life to the tribute honoring the school’s deep ties to the Cincinnati baseball legend, thanks to a donation from Signarama in Lawrenceburg. The new signage represents community pride and the lasting connection between Western Hills and Rose’s legacy on the west side. Girls basketball had a great turnaround season with first year Head Coach LaRonda Castleberry being named CMAC Coach of the Year. Kev’iya “Yaya” Parrish earned CMAC Offensive Player of the Year and broke several school records.
