Northwest High School received a 3.5-star overall grade on the Ohio Local Report Card, and the school earned 4 stars in the College, Career, Workforce and Military Readiness category, which measures how well the school prepares students for life after high school. The district also added AP Environmental Science, AP Seminar and AP Research and offered AP Human Geography and AP World History to 9th graders so students could have early access to college-level coursework. Through a partnership with Armored Trucking Academy, seniors get free CDL-A training, and they learn real-world logistics skills before they graduate.
