Mount Healthy City Schools voters approved a 0.75% earned income tax that provides funds for day-to-day operating expenses such as transportation, utilities, classroom supplies, staffing and extracurricular programs such as athletics, music and art. The district’s new financial outlook shows a healthy budget surplus, following difficult staffing and operational decisions that helped stabilize finances. Open houses took place at Mt. Healthy Junior/Senior High School, staff were recognized for School Lunch Hero Day and Social Worker Month and the Summer Scholars program was kicked off.
