Hartwell School recently marked its centennial with a community event featuring historical tours and reflections on its legacy. As part of a district-wide redesign, the school will move to a grade 4-8 middle school model starting in the 2025-2026 school year. Rising Stars at Carthage is a new home for younger students. Under the direction of Principal Antwan Lewis, the school has also expanded its extracurricular programs to over 30 and constructed a new state-of-the-art STEAM lab.
