Bridgetown Middle School is getting a lot of attention for its great accomplishments! The school has been named one of the best in the Oak Hills Local School District because its students do well in Science, Math, and English Language Arts. The school does very well, especially considering that it has a wide range of students and a high percentage of students from low-income families. Bridgetown Middle School has also been a popular place for college students who want to learn from the best teachers. This fall, 37 students from Miami University's College of Education visited the school.
Q1. What do you do at Bridgetown Middle School to make learning fun?
Ans. Lessons include hands-on projects, group work, and activities that require students to use their brains and creativity.
Q2. At Bridgetown, what programs help people become better artists?
Ans. Workshops in music, visual arts, theater, and creative writing give students chances to find their talents and express themselves.
Q3. What does the school do to help students with their mental health?
Ans. Counseling services, wellness programs, and mindfulness programs help students stay emotionally strong and healthy in general.
Q4. How do you learn how to be a leader?
Ans. Student councils, peer mentoring, and group projects help students learn how to be responsible, confident, and work well with others.
Q5. What does Bridgetown Middle School do to get the community involved?
Ans. Volunteer projects, programs that get families involved, and partnerships with local groups all help students get to know their community and make it better.
