Belmont Elementary School announced that Mr. Collin Stucky was approved as its new principal for the 2025–26 school year. He will begin leading the school as the new academic year approaches. The community looks forward to his leadership and experience.
Q1. How does Belmont explain the idea of comparing the capacity of objects?
Ans. Students use containers of different sizes to see which one holds more or less, which helps them learn how to measure things.
Q2. How does the school help kids learn to make guesses based on pictures?
Ans. Teachers help students figure out how people feel, where they are, or what they are doing by looking for clues in pictures that aren't directly stated.
Q3. What habits help students find and get their classroom supplies?
Ans. Belmont has labeled drawers, grab stations, and return baskets so that students know exactly where to find and return things.
Q4. How does Belmont help students learn how to tell different types of land use apart?
Ans. In social studies, students look at pictures of farms, neighborhoods, and parks to learn about how land is used for different things.
Q5. What does the school do to help kids learn to recognize rhythms in reading?
Ans. Students practice clapping syllables and finding natural reading beats to get better at reading quickly and fluently.
