On October 16, 2025, the Mid Rivers Elementary PTO held a lively fundraiser at the local Red Robin Gourmet Burgers & Brews in St. Peters. A portion of sales from guests who showed the event flyer or ordered online went to support the school's programs. The event brought families and staff together for a fun night and helped raise money for student enrichment. The Fort Zumwalt School District and other local schools are now looking over Missouri's new law that allows four-day school weeks and sets a minimum length for the school year. As the community grows—like when the new Highview Elementary School opened in the area—Mid Rivers stays involved in both school-specific and district-wide changes that affect students, families, and staff.
