Being Updated
The latest news of Lewis & Clark Elementary school has started some attractive events which motivate students to keep track of how fast they read and attend an author visit on campus to celebrate reading. The motive of this program is to get students more involved and support the school's focus on reading and communication skills. During the whole week, classroom libraries will be updated, and themed dress-up days and reading challenges will keep things going. School leaders say the campaign is meant to help with the upcoming literacy tests and improve the reading culture in grades 3–5. Families are encouraged to get involved by keeping track of their reading at home and going to community reading nights later this month.
