The latest news is they plan district-wide capital plan, the Fort Zumwalt R-II School District is improving Hawthorn Elementary by adding new HVAC systems and better security. There Improvements include classrooms that are quieter and use less energy, as well as that are stronger to make students more comfortable and safe. Recently, families from the area visit to a community "open-house preview," which showed how well the school is connected to its suburban neighbourhood. According to school that the improvements show Hawthorn's dedication to providing a safe, modern learning environment and helping students do better in school.
