Latest News

The latest news of the Hyde Elementar school joined a pilot program this month to add more books to its library and give students new tools to help them learn to read. Staff showed off hundreds of new books, reading corners, and interactive e-readers that are meant to get kids more interested in reading and help them reach their grade-level goals. Families were invited to check out the resources and take part in a 'family reading night' at the launch event. This was the first of many planned community-school literacy events. School leaders say that the effort shows a commitment to helping all students with their academic journeys and improving their early reading skills. Hyde Elementary is taking active steps to improve to continue student learning and the culture of reading and writing throughout the school year by giving students more tools and getting the community involved.
