Being Updated
The latest news of Coleman Elementary School just added a new outdoor learning space called the "Discovery Garden." This program helps students learn about science and nature in a hands-on way. The ribbon-cutting ceremony brought together families and staff, showing how much people is supporting the project which has from the community. School officials say that the garden will be used in class to get students more interested in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) and environmental education and more. Coleman is committed to making learning more interesting outside of the classroom, as shown by this project. Plans are already in place for next year's expansion, which will include student-led gardening teams and seasonal harvest events.
