West Middle School journalism students earned national recognition when they were featured on a CNN affiliate news broadcast on Dec. 4, as part of the P-CCS Press Spring 2026 Edition. The feature showcased student work in journalism and other media accomplishments created in the school’s communications program. The award recognized students’ creativity, reporting skills and participation in broadcast journalism activities. The award gave the school’s student media program greater exposure.
