On April 8, 2026, Lansing Intermediate School hosted an Emergency Services STEM Night, featuring hands-on learning led by local police officers and emergency responders. The school recently received recognition when 5th grade teacher Sara Martin was named Lansing USD 469’s 2026 Elementary Teacher of the Year. The Lansing Intermediate Junior Guard also took 2nd place in the Knowledge category at a regional competition in April 2026.
