Being Updated
Middle school students at the Grand Rapids Public Museum are collaborating with museum professionals on a one-of-a-kind project to develop public exhibits to highlight the museum’s collections. This program allows students to take what they’re learning in the classroom and apply it to real world scenarios where they choose exhibit themes, curate exhibits and design exhibits. The museum's ongoing Immerse program is an intense, week-long educational experience that makes the museum a living textbook for students from around the region.
