Diamond Elementary School is a public K–5 school in the Montgomery County Public Schools system. It is located at 4 Marquis Drive in Gaithersburg, Maryland (20878). With about 650 to 670 students and a student-teacher ratio of about 15:1, Diamond is a wonderful place to learn. About 64% of students are good at math, and 80% are good at reading/ELA, which is much higher than the average in Maryland. The school has a diverse student body, with approximately 75% of students identifying as minorities. The school promotes both academic success and social-emotional growth by stressing the values of "care, belief, respect, engagement, collaboration, and problem-solving."
