Hillcrest Elementary School, which is part of Baltimore County Public Schools, is a public K–5 school that serves about 675 students. The student–teacher ratio is about 18:1. The school is located at 1500 Frederick Road, Catonsville, Maryland 21228. The student body is made up of about 49% minorities, including White, Asian, Hispanic, and Black students. Hillcrest does well in school, with about 50% of students doing well in math and about 64% doing well in reading and language arts, both of which are above the state averages for Maryland. The school is one of the best elementary schools in Maryland.
