Irving Elementary recently held a Math & Reading Excellence Week to honor the best students and encourage them to do better in school. The school also started a new STEM program that includes hands-on science and technology projects for students in Pre-K through 5th grade. Irving Elementary also had a Family Engagement Day, where parents and people from the community took part in workshops and activities that encouraged social-emotional learning and getting involved in the community.
