Des Moines Public Schools recently got voters to approve a $265 million bond as part of its "Reimagining Education" plan. This money will help pay for renovations, more access to pre-K, and new "signature" schools. Park Avenue Elementary won't be closing, but the plan may bring better facilities and programs in the next few years.
