Being Updated
Recently, voters in Des Moines agreed to a $265 million bond referendum for the Des Moines Public Schools. Morris Elementary School will benefit from this money. The money goes to the district's "Reimagining Education" plan, which wants to modernize classrooms, add more preschool classes, and make STEM and arts programs better. Homeowners may have to pay an extra $188 a year on a $200,000 home to pay for the bond. The bond's passage shows that the community is very much in favor of making schools better and giving more opportunities to students in the whole district. In the future, this will help schools like Morris Elementary grow and make the places where kids learn better.
