Hoyt has launched a new Student Leadership Council for the 2026 spring semester to give students a direct voice. Extensive facility remodeling and repairs are scheduled to begin this year as part of equitable access efforts. The school is strengthening community outreach programs to connect students with Des Moines-based service projects.
