Mid City High is growing its unique internship program, which gives students the chance to get credit for professional experiences that are relevant to their career goals. The school recently built a new student wellness center on campus that has separate areas for mental health support and mindfulness practices. The new Flexible Learning Model also lets students make their own schedules so they can better balance schoolwork with work-based learning and community service.
