Pearl Harbor Elementary School is preparing for its 2025 Winter Concert. Performances for students and staff are scheduled for December 18. A separate concert for parents will be held on December 19.
Q1. How does Pearl Harbor help students remember how important remembering the past is?
Ans. Lessons talk about why people remember things that happened in the past and how remembering things helps communities learn and think.
Q2. How does the school help kids learn about water safety near harbors early on?
Ans. Teachers teach kids basic safety rules like staying within limits and following adult supervision when they are near water.
Q3. What routines help students remember how to act when the flag is up during special events?
Ans. During ceremonies or announcements, students practice standing still and following directions.
Q4. How does Pearl Harbor help students figure out the order of events in historical stories?
Ans. Teachers help students put events in order so they can see how history changes over time.
Q5: How does the school help students become ready for guests in a polite way?
Ans. Before visits, students go over how to greet people, what to expect when listening, and how to ask questions.
