Kamiloiki Elementary School announced its annual Keiki Carnival scheduled for Friday, October 17, 2025. The event featured food, games, and inflatables for students and families. It continues to be one of the school’s most anticipated community traditions.
Q1. How does Kamiloiki help kids practice listening for order when they read aloud?
Ans. To help students strengthen their sequencing skills, teachers stop the story and ask them to remember what happened first, next, and last.
Q2. How does the school teach kids about ocean safety early on?
Ans. Lessons discuss basic ideas like how to follow warning signs and why some rules exist for the shoreline.
Q3. What routines help students use anchor charts that everyone in the class can see?
Ans. Students are taught to use charts quietly, put markers back where they belong, and not block their classmates' view.
Q4: How does Kamiloiki help students learn how to act respectfully in front of an audience?
Ans. Teachers show students how to make eye contact, stay still, and clap at the right times during presentations.
Q5: What does the school do to help students keep track of their homework?
Ans. Students use folders with different colors to make it easy to find and return assignments and notices.
