Admiral Chester W. Nimitz Elementary School held its Turkey Trot Color Fun Run fundraiser, which exceeded its goal by raising more than $25,000. The funds will be used to purchase a new book vending machine for students. Participants also secured donations from all 50 states, earning a personal pan pizza reward and the chance to silly string Principal Mr. Allen.

Ans. Students learn the basic differences between puffy, layered, and wispy clouds and draw pictures of the sky during science class.
Q2. What does the school do to help students learn how to disagree in a respectful way during discussions?
Ans. Teachers show students how to disagree politely so they can share their opinions without fighting.
Q3. What routines help students get ready for their morning transitions?
Ans. Students take things out of their folders, get their supplies ready, and go over the day's agenda on the board.
Q4: How does Nimitz help students compare the properties of saltwater and freshwater?
Ans. Students look at samples and talk about how they taste, how buoyant they are, and where they can find each type of water.
Q5. How does the school help kids learn to read maps better by using island outlines?
Ans. Students match labeled maps of Hawaiian islands to get to know the area better.
