The community is celebrating a massive win at Bloomingdale Elementary School after their recent "Buddy-A-Thon" event. Thanks to an incredible push by the PTA and families, students managed to raise over $20,000. Half of that total goes directly back into school funding for things the kids need. On top of that, the school was just named a national winner in the "Rally to Read 100" contest, which landed 100 brand-new books for the library media center.
