As part of its continuous commitment to education improvement, the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice School District’s Bob Richards Regional Youth Detention Center recently worked to prepare for the 2026 state-of-the-district meeting. The facility has created academic programs, including the Pathway to Success high school equivalency program, to help students stay on track with their education and earn credits toward graduation while in the facility. Current efforts are focused on transition assistance and behavioral supports to get students college and career ready when they return to their home school environments.
