Cedar Hill Elementary School is hitting some outstanding milestones in student progress. The school is celebrating the committed Cedar Hill Elementary School Robotics Team after they achieved first place for both their research project and core competition rounds at the conference event and will advance to rank ninth overall at regionals. Moreover, the counseling team won a rare feat, as almost 96 % of the eligible young learners successfully completed the exclusive Pathway Junior career-exposure program. To keep things fresh for the community, the administration has formally unveiled a brand new Cedar Hill Elementary School logo.

FAQ

Q1. My fourth grader wants to join the Robotics Team. How do they sign up?

Ans. Listen for announcements or review your ParentSquare messages at the start of the fall semester. In August or September the squad holds informational meetings and trials for the upper-grade students.

Q2. What is the Pathway Junior program at Cedar Hill Elementary School?

Ans. It's just a fun way the school teaches kids about different careers. Teachers do quick activities in class to show how basic math or reading relates to everyday jobs like being a builder, a nurse, or a business owner.

Q3. Can I call the front office at 2:30 PM to change how my child is getting home?

Ans. No, phone changes are not allowed because dismissal becomes too chaotic. If your child needs to take a different bus or become a car rider, you must send a signed paper note to the teacher with your child that morning.

Q4. Is there an after-school program at the school if I work late?

Ans. Yes, the school building hosts a paid after-hours program run by a licensed community childcare provider. You can grab registration packets and pricing info directly from the front office counter.

Q5. When do I get to see my child’s official report card?

Ans. The school prints or posts official grades at the end of each semester. However, you can also log into your ParentVUE account at any point during the year to see test scores and missing homework assignments.
