Chestatee High School athletes earn multiple top finishes at Georgia state track and field finals. Emma Dobson finished third in the 3200-meter and fifth in the 800-meter and Elisa Beharry finished fourth in the state competition. The athletes represented the Gainesville school in individual state track and field events against athletes from all over Georgia. Finishing places at the state finals count toward the individual athlete’s recognition and towards the school’s overall representation in statewide high school athletic competition.
