River Trail Middle School has earned the Seal of Preparedness for its commitment to student preparedness and educational standards. The school also honored its chess team for recent tournament wins and strong performances. The School Governance Council also selected new officers for the 2025-2026 school year, including Grace Hernandez as Chair. As part of the updated student conduct and learning environment guidelines, the school also adopted a new district-wide policy banning personal communication devices during the school day.
