On February 13, 2026, Columbia High School students won first place at a regional Tech Fair. The Decatur school was recognized for the student performance in academic and technology competition events. Participants competed with other regional schools in technology, innovation and project development-related categories. Regional Technology Competitions continue to give students opportunities to demonstrate technical skills and applied academic learning.
