The Cherokee County School District held an official ribbon cutting ceremony and community open house to celebrate the new replacement campus for Cherokee High School in Canton . The state-of-the-art 473,000 square foot facility is designed for more than 3,000 students and features modern learning environments and innovative spaces for academic and career-focused programs. Cherokee High School senior Grace Dai was also named a National Merit Scholarship winner and graduating senior John Grauso was awarded the Judy Johnson Memorial Scholarship.
