Westside High School has broken ground on a $6,808,385 construction project that will demolish the school’s 57-year-old vocational wing and replace it with a new Career, Technical and Agricultural Education facility. The campus will feature a 24,722-square-foot CTAE wing with three standard classrooms, six laboratory-style classrooms, office space, and upgraded utility connections. The project is for upgrading instructional facilities and adding space for career and technical education programs. Districts that want to align facilities with current instructional and industry standards continue to upgrade school infrastructure focused on technical and workforce education.
